Utah Rush Receive 2010 Rush Festival and Summit


Rush Soccer is excited to announce that the dates have been set for the annual Rush Summit and Rush Festival. The week of activities will be held just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah from July 25 till August 1, 2010. Click here for more details.

Rush Select Teams Announced for President's Day Tournament

LITTLETON, CO – Rush Soccer has finalized the Rush Select Team rosters for the President's Day Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona, February 12-15. For the second consecutive year, Rush has bought together some of the best talent from Rush clubs across the country to compete in an Invitational Tournament. Coach Hoffman and Paralympic World Cup

The U.S. Paralympic Soccer National Team has been drawn into Group B of the upcoming CPISRA World Championship in Netherlands with Russia and Scotland. The U.S. will play first round games against Russia on Oct. 23, and Scotland on Oct. 25, at the National Sports Center – Papendal, in Arhem, Netherlands.

Rush Alumni leading U.S. National team


(10.11.09)Casey Scores Two, Americans Advance to South AfricaConor Casey scored the first two goals of his International career and the US Men's National team beat Honduras 3-2 to clinch a spot in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.Conor tied the game 1-1 in the 55th minute after beating the keeper to a ball in the box and knocking a header into the back of the net. He would score again seven minutes later after beating the off-side trap and slotting the ball to the keepers left giving the Americans a 2-1 lead and quieting the hostile crowd. Landon Donovan would make it 3-1 with a well placed free kick just minutes later.A scrappy Honduras team that had gone 8-0 in home qualifying matches prior to the game, would score their second goal in the 78th minute and had an opportunity to tie the game from the penalty spot late but the shot went over the cross bar and the US held on for the victory."This is surely a defining moment in the career of Conor Casey. Scoring 2 goals in the game that clinched a World Cup birth is truly amazing," said Andrew Kummer, Technical Director for Rush Soccer.The big striker, and Colorado Rush alum, currently sits in second place in the MLS having scored 16 goals for the Colorado Rapids.The US will have on final match in qualifying against Costa Rica on October 14th.
